Jake, all of us have dreams. I say go for it! You will more than likely succeed! For one, I may not know you, but I know that people who follow their dreams never fail.
Muhammad Ali didn't. The first man to visit the North pole surely did not, and now I am telling you to go for it. Despite what others tell you, you will be able to make it. Ignore the trolls who tell you that you can not, only listen to you. Do not let Yahoo Answers decide for you because a lot of people on here are not really smart anyways, only some.
Put your mind and goals to it, then you shall not fail.
Jake I am exactly like you at the moment.
I had a coach who said I'm a good boxer, and that i should start competing. But he said that 3 years ago. And I've never had a fight yet.
Now im 17, and that coach left, and I got a new coach. Now I got my fight in at least October.
Just keep training hard. Build a strong relationship with your coach. Ask him questions on how to increase your performance, and style. And the most important one of all. Make sure you LISTEN.
There is absolutely no way of telling considering you haven't told us:
1) Your age
2) Your level of fitness
3) How long you've been training
4) How much time you spend training a week
5) Your determination.
We'd also have to see you train and box before we could make any conclusion on your prospects.
If you want an answer I'd make a video of yourself boxing/training on a popular site beginning with 'Y'. Either that or ask your trainer.
takes awhile to get to ameteur just keep training and I will see you in the ring one day pal
No you can't
Okay it's because my dream is to be a boxer but I keep thinking I'm rubbish compared to everyone in the gym:-(I haven't even had a ameteur match:-(
