Not overly, but in today's heavyweight division, if they breathe, they're able to throw that lucky punch. What else do we have .In the past 6 months or so,, we've lost Ron Lyle, Jerry Quarry, Joe Frazier, Ken Norton and Tommy "The Duke" Morrison all who could have caved in the FURY and so many more in today's heavyweight division. So, we're stuck with the rest, so let's enjoy what we have.
R I. P. all and I missed anyone....sorry.
Impressive no, entertaining yes.
I want Fury to fight Mariusz Wach.
No
For me, not at all. It's his size and weight advantage more than anything that will probably let him excel and why they NEED weight class for this new generation of oversized fighters. It would be like having a 6 foot tall 160 pound mediocre fighter dominating the 140 division. And then everybody talks about how good this fighter because of all his success in the division when really he has size and weight advantage. Heavyweight is the only division where you can have two fighters over a foot difference in height and 50 lbs in weight in a ring and nobody thinks anything of it. In any other division, weight differences are seen as crucial advantages/disadvantages.
