Riddick bowe did not duck Lennox lewis because they was best friends.
They fought eachother in the amateurs and lewis won but they developed a bond when they both turned pro.
I agree, the fight should have happened but no one was ducked.
BQ: I heard a rumor that Mike tyson ducked Geoge formeman in the 90's. I don't know if that is true but many people said that tyson refused to fight Geoge.
They even have interviews of tyson contradicting himself about having a future fight with formeman.
i see an interview with bowe about lewis and he said that lewis wanted to much money to fight .bowe said when he challenged holyfield he took the small purse as he was the challenger and that lewis wouldn't do that when bowe had the belt ..
i think bowe would of beat lewis in the early days lewis didn't become lewis till manny steward trained him .
i don't like the word duck but all fighters like fighting certain styles and dislike fighting others and neither lennox or bowe would be a preferred opponent for any fighter.
