Crawford would have to move up to 140 or Broner would have to chop off a body part to make 135. Crawford has the tools to fighter a cleaner version of what Maidana did. However, having tools and knowing how to use them against certain opponents are two different things.

Crawford is still untested. He looked great against Gamboa but Yori has a lot going on and I don't think he carries 135 well. Broner is a different story.

If this fight happens it would likely be at 140. If Broner can still make the weight comfortably, which he should, he guts out the win by late stoppage. However, if Broner struggles to make weight, he's not the most disciplined fighter, than Crawford might wear him down and win on points or stop him late.

Some people here are very hasty to judge. And too fickle-minded. These are the very ones who here were saying that Crawford would be exposed as another hyped up black fighter before he fought and beat Gamboa! Now you are pitting him against another fighter whom you also brand as hype job. No way really to win with his types of so-called boxing fans!

In fairness to the asker I would try to answer the question.

Crawford is a lightweight who also seen to outgrow the division soon just like Broner. But right now he is a lightweight while Broner at the very least is now a junior welterweight. Broner has experienced fighting in the lightweights and the welterweights while Crawford has only fought in the lightweights. I don't think Crawford is ready to follow Broner's move up to the welters this soon. Given that a fight above 135 lbs. would surely favor Broner.

Crawford lost 4 rounds to smaller Gamboa. Broner was a monster at 135. His first fight there was against Antonio DeMarco, the #1 guy at the weight...he destroyed him. His speed and power and size advantage would make pretty easy work here at 140, a weight Crawford has never been to and that is below 147 where Broner held a title.

Crawford would be small at Welter but have an answer to any problem Broner poses at any given weight.

I think thatd be an interesting fight i'd go with broner though UD it would be close but Crawford was losing to a smaller Gamboa and when your in a close fight you can't waste rounds like that
