Completely breaking down the Alvarez V Trout match?

No, the judges had the score cards away wider than what I did I had it 115-113 Alvarez and a round or 2 I gave to Canelo could of gone to Trout.

Alvarez's overall ring generalship and defense impressed me the most

Alvarez didn't impress me with his lack of punch out put and inability to consistently

keep on the pressure

Alvarez should really push for the winner of the Mayweather vs. Guerrero match (I would be very surprised if it wasn't Mayweather)

Austin trout should try and either push for a rematch or fight another marquee name as soon as possible!

It was an okay fight, just not worth the hype going in expecting Alvarez being a 'not Cotto but a real man' for a beatdown on Trout. The lone knockdown on the 7th round was good but from there on out both fighters simmered and it was just a boring wait for the decision.

Overall: we've seen much better this year, maybe Alvarez is too young for any of his fights to compare.

I didn't agree with the judges score cards, but I still had Alvarez winning by 1 or 2 rounds. Why? Because I thought he controlled most of the fight and he was slipping all those jabs that trout was throwing at him. He landed the most devastating punches in the rounds that I gave him, simple as that. One flaw that he has is that he needs to throw more punches, I have a feeling that he would of won by more rounds if he would of let those punches fly.

Jeremy, I scored it 115-113 Trout, but there were many close rounds. I am fine with 2 of the scores.

Alvarez impressed me with his speed, poise, crafty tricks, and his defense... Nice improvement.

I was unimpressed with his inconsistency with the jab and his body work.

Alvarez should call out the May 4th winner. If that doesn't happen, he should take Ishe Smith's belt.

Trout can't be choosy... He has to fight any name he can... Lara, Angulo, Kirkland...

Alvarez defense impressed me tonight, but I don't expect his Defense to look as good as it did tonight against Floyd. I don't think Alvarez or Trout are on Floyd Mayweather's level, almost no one is. I think Alvarez, Trout are more on Guerrero's level of boxing, maybe slightly better than Guerrero.

No so much. I do think that Canelo won, but the scorecards were too far off. It should have been a little closer

His body movement was superb. His punching power was also pretty good.

What I didn't like about Canelo was his endurance. He got too tired before the 9th round. He needs to work in his cardio.

Trout, we it's hard to say.

Did you agree with the judges scores?

What aspect of Alvarez' game impressed you the most?

What aspect of Alvarez' game didn't impress you, if any?

What fight should Alvarez get next?

Where does Austin Trout go from here?
