As far as this effecting the Alvarez vs Trout fight, I'd suspect that as popular as Alvarez is in Mexico and as corrupt as that country is, they will let it go till after the fight. Also try and take this to court in Mexico. Alvarez is so popular that no jury will find him guilty. I say " No effect."
His people will suround him and tell him what ever he needs to hear to calm him down about this. He will also have the dream legal team. No worries on two boxers getting into a fight. The media is just doing what they do. Try and make news.
If robert guerrero can still fight mayweather and the incident happen not to long ago I'm sure Canelo can fight trout if its only two days away and that incident happened over a year ago.
Probably just for publicity,i think the fight will go ahead.
According to this report, an arrest warrant has been issued for Canelo Alvarez by Mexican authorities!
