Can you see Mayweather creating a new landmark in boxing.......?

The answer to the question - Is totally dependant on the quality of opposition.

Can Mayweather fight and succeed against the likes of Alvarez, Broner, Khan, Garcia, Matthyus, Thurman, Bradley, Brook, Marquez, Pacquaio.... The list goes on..... I would say almost certainly not.

Mayweather can reach 50-0 fighting second rate opposition like Malignaggi & Alexander, and company. (Assuming he stays as sharp as he currently is... Father time is still a factor here)

Would I bet all my possessions on the outcome...? Not until I see the list of challengers!

It could happen but as Mr F said I wouldn't bet on it. Mayweather now has a match about once a year, he is 43-0 at the moment and if he were to have another 7 fights at his current rate that would be another seven years, which would mean Mayweather would still have to be fighting and on top form at 43 years old.

There are tax reasons why Mayweather doesn't fight more so I doubt we will see him up his schedule of fights, especially at this stage of his career and I can't see him continuing until past 40. If he did it is more than possible he loses as age catches up with everybody.

So no, I think Mayweather will retire, probably unbeaten, with less than 50 fights.

an "0" should be decided on how it smells inside...

you may heat the the oil and the pan...but make sure it aint rotten before you break and pour...

you can even make it 60-0...but if he keeps on fighting the likes of malignaggi and guerrero till he retires...avoiding the top fighters....o maaaaan....

nobody will be interested tasting your sunny-side-up when it stinks all over the room

what fighting easy fights

by becoming the first fighter to retire with an unblemished record of 50-0-0.

If you had to bet all your possessions on it would you back him to achieve this,or would you bet against him?
