Donaire vs Rigondaux is also up there, I loved Guillermaeux's performance against the 2012 fighter of the year and also Darchinyan's performance up until he got knocked out.
One other fight I can think of is Angulo being defeated by Lara, who's been robbed and often overlooked in favor of his more popular opponents. I've always thought Angulo was slightly overrated anyway.
I think this was most satisfying by far. Broner has been talking and walking like he's been on top for years, without really beating anyone. He hasn't still shown that he is an elite fighter. He has good skills, but his arrogance and holes in defense have always been there. He gets hit by EVERYONE, period. I knew Maidana was going to hit him, but wondered if Broner could actually take the punch. He took it okay, when he wasn't trying to smile or look cool.
This by far was more satisfying to me. I don't think any of the other losses of the year had such an arrogant prick thinking he's god's gift to the world of boxing. Seth and Donaire were not really arrogant...Donaire is a little arrogant at times, but looks like an angel compared to Broner. I see Donaire slightly better in proving his skills, but also figured Rig would teach him a lesson. I think the rematch with Nonito or Broner will end up the same.
Seeing Rios get hamburgered after all the **** that went on was pretty satisfying. Broner got smashed though, I thought they were going to rob Maidana! Will Mayweather fight Khan instead of Maidana? What a blatant duck if so.
Not a good year for me with Broner, Donaire and Seth Mitchell taking bad losses. Kudos to Maidana for making the fight the fight he wanted it to be. Doesn't rake anything away from Broner's previous achievements of winning titles in 3 weight classes at 23. Hopefully he bounces back with better D and a higher punch output. Maybe he can grab a title in a 4th weight class at 140...because both 147 fights show him strugglingvat that class.
I loved seeing Rios get owned by both Pacquiao and Alvarado. The Knockout of Mares was also satisfying. This fight though had me happy. I used to like Broner until his attitude made me hate him he makes Floyd look humble. The guy finally faces a big puncher and gets rocked by him.
I am so happy right now that maidana put a beating on that frauds ****.
It like we just got an early christmas present.
Of course
all broner fan boys like Sean Gayboy and Sh!t & Move dissapear lol
Damn that was satisfying, seeing Maidana make Broner his ***** after all that bark from Broner. He also had some of the most annoying fans who had him in their top P4P list, Broner got whopped bad against a 6-1 dog so lets not hear too much excuses from fanboys.
Other satisfying loses this year where Donaire, Devon Alexander and Alvarado. Whats ur most satisfying fights recently?
