Not really, Marquez is very smart and if Pacquiao would due the counter punching, Marquez would not just walk in to Pacquiao. Despite Pacquiao being an aggressive fighter, he has shown in occasions that he is a good counter-puncher(ask Hatton). Pacquiao is obviously not even close to Marquez when it comes to counter-punching but he is not bad. That being said, I must repeat that Marquez is no Hatton, he would not get countered like that.
HOWEVER, the problem is that in a battle of counter-punchers, Marquez is the one to start the action. Marquez would not get tagged like Hatton but he would obviously put himself at risk, regardless.
Marquez could have an even easier fight if it were to be counter-puncher vs counter-puncher but Marquez being the one to start in such occassions, Pacquiao could do it...

Manny can't change his style. He's an offensive fighter who comes swarming at you with lightning-fast and explosive combinations. He's what he is and he can't change his style just to beat JMM. Counterpunching is not his style and no matter what he does, he'd always revert to being the offensive juggernaut that he is. MP simply needs to explore all his advantages over JMM to beat him convincingly, i.e. speed and power.

No, because Marquez is a master at counter punching and Pac to train for in only one camp wouldn't work. He lost everey fight to Marquez, so Marquez had to KO to show he's the better man.
