Interesting question my friend :D and its like you say, people are different! some people take punches better than others. however theres always things one can do to decrease chances for brain injury like ALWAYS using sparring helm when you spar. when you see the pros spar you will always notice that they use sparring helm. also during training focus on holding a good gard and dont drop it because when you will go in the ring it will be easier for the oppenent to land clean shoots.
The famous Sugar Ray Robinson had over 200 proffesional fights and he only sparred the week before a match, no more.

Although 'promoters' push fighters to keep fighting, which is also called "money motivated greed"... they could care less about boxer's serious brain damage. In time, most of them will end will up just like Muhammad Ali. His Doctor stated that Ali's brain injuries were due to his 22-year boxing career He suffers from Parkinson's syndrome. What quantity of money IS or IS NOT enough for a man? The Bible states that (1 Timothy 6:10) "For the love of money is a root of all sorts of injurious things, and by reaching out for this love some have been led astray from the faith and have stabbed themselves all over with many pains"
Personally, I would like to see the day when all dangerous sports are rid off and banned for good!
Bernard Hopkins he almost 50 and talks like a professor
i know some pros that have been in over 100 matches brain is fine and they speak cleary very solid chin, then thiers other fighters that have like 28 fights but have brain hemrotages and broken bones in the head? are people born to take hits or what?
