No. Miguel Cotto is finished as are most of Freddie Roaches fighters. I feel bad saying it because I really like Miguel Cotto, he is actually my cousin but he was never the same after the first Margarito fight. It's a shame that a cheater took away a great career.
Cotto's best days were at 140. I don't think anything can be done to improve him at 154 because he wasn't that great even at 147. If Freddie can give "Slow Motto Cotto" some speed, that might help.
Of course Freddie Roach would improve Cotto, Roach is one of today's premier trainers.
Nope. Age and wear and tear from all those tough battles have taken their toll on Cotto. I think he's done and not even a great trainer like Roach can change that.
Cotto would have to fight at Junior welt to be able to be of any consequence, and honestly he kills himself to make the weight for welt now.
