Muhammad Ali defeated Ernie on Feb 6,1967, in the Houston,Astrodome by a unanimous 15 round decision. Big John Tate passed away on April 9,1998, Tate was a former WBA World Heavyweight Champion, he defeated Gerrie Goatzee, of South Africa on Oct 20,1979. and he lost his title to Mike Hercules Weaver on March 31 1980, by a knockout in round 15.
