The rest of them will spark glass jawed wilder out.
I personally think Chris Arreola and Seth Mitchell are too big of a step forward for Wilder at this point and he needs to fight someone that can carry him into deep waters but doesn't present a KO threat ,maybe James Tony or Dominick Guinn first.
Of the fighters you listed ,i think Ruslan Chagev would be the best choice because he's a good boxer and is fairly tough and doesn't present a big KO threat and since he has losses to Vladimir Klitschko and Nicolay Valuev ,we know what Chagaev is made of.
I think he should just fight someone who isn't a tomato can or a washed up former name in the division.
I would like to see him fight Malik Scott with the winner taking on Derek Chisora. Both fights would gain Wilder some recognition and that route would be a sure fire way to one of the Klitschko brothers, if they would face him. At the very least he would be talked about as a worthy opponent.
I think that the Mitchel / Areaolla winner is perfect but of the names above, I like J) Thompson. A vet that's no pushover. Off your list, I like Oliver McCall. He's still tough and always goes the full fight. Lewis is his only KO loss.
What top 10 Heavyweight should he fight? Why?
Excluding champion, Wladimir Klitschko, here are the choices...
A) V. Klitschko 45-2 (41 KOs)
B) Povetkin 25-0 (17 KOs)
C) Haye 26-2 (24)
D) Pulev 17-0 (9)
E) Adamek 48-2 (29)
F) Chageav 31-2-1 (20)
G) Helenius 19-0 (11)
H) Fury 21-0 (15)
I) Boytsov 32-0 (25)
J) Thompson 37-3 (25)
Note: Povetkin is busy fighting Wladimir. Haye will be fighting Fury. Golden Boy is suggesting the Mitchell/ Arreola winner.
