It's an interesting dynamic because I didn't think Devon Alexander beat Lucas Matthysse nor do I think Zab Judah beat him. Nonetheless, those were two extremely close fights that could've been considered wins for either man, but I know as a spectator watching them I didn't think Matthysee lost.
Lucas Matthysee in my own person opinion is a fighter that's been more the less a victim of circumstances; he's a relative unknown, he doesn't speak English, and he had two razor thin fights with guys in their own backyard which obviously weren't going to be tilted in his favor.
Zab Judah in New Jersey and Devon Alexander in STL are both fights were Lucas wasn't exactly the hometown favorite so fans have to realize, which I think they have, that the guy who gets the "W" isn't always the better man.
Aside from that I agree with Devon Alexander. He hasn't taken any shortcuts, the roads been tough, and he hasn't been hand fed any soft opposition.
i agree lucas matthysse has never lost he was robbed twice and alexander sucks bawls
Alexander is wrong
Slick style will always have a chance against KO artists.
