Hello Sean. Back when this fight was organized around 2009-2010, this would have been a very good fight. Right now, I don't like this fight, and I'm sure most don't like it either.
First of all, around 2009-2010, Andre Berto was undefeated and one of the top Welterweight prospects. Everyone thought he was ready for Manny Pacquiao or Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Also, Shane Mosley before fighting Floyd Mayweather Jr. wasn't exactly in his prime, but still a threat to anyone. He looked like the young Shane Mosley after destroying Antonio Margarito. So after that fight, this should have been made. And it was made, but I understand that Berto dropped out because of the terrible earthquake in Haiti. Still would have been a great fight.
Right now, no, I am not interested. This fight could be for money, but I wouldn't want to watch it. Shane Mosley is way past his best. He looked pretty bad in a draw with Sergio Mora, he lost to Manny Pacquiao and Saul Alvarez, and he beat Pablo Cesar Cano, which wasn't too impressive.
Andre Berto is also not the same fighter. After losing to Victor Ortiz, he was no longer an elite Welterweight. He then lost to Roberr Guerrero and Jesus Soto Karass.
So I surely do not want to see this fight, but I think Berto would take a split decision in a somewhat slow paced kind of fight.
No, Mosley is way past his prime and Berto has become a stepping stone. He has the athleticism, he has the speed, he has the power to be a good fighter but he doesn't fight the way he should. If Mosley wins he beats a guy on a cold streak. If Berto wins he beats an old man. Doesn't mean anything.
Only as an exhibition match. And I'm sure that Mosley would get the best of Berto every time.
Awe man that would be sick! ive always wanted to see that fight, and i always wanted to see Mosley vs Judah except that never happend. A few years ago Mosley would have won but now i feel like Berto would win 12 round UD.
Sure why not. That fight was suppose to have happened. But Berto cancelled when Haiti had that Earthquake. Berto really needs to win his next fight if not he might have to call it quits.
The other guy should get best answer for sure! Lmao
Nope not at all, this fight holds no power. Just names that have been heard through failed attempts at a shoulder roll and a washed up ATG that nobody watches.
no, for what.. lol a way passed his prime all time great vs a passed his prime ordinary boxer doesnt make alot of sense to me
Who would win?
