His victory over Miguel cotto was a more impressive win. In fact, Miguel was a former World champion and he was coming off a win over Antonio margarito. He is also ranked in the top 5 in his respected division. Cotto was not shot because Floyd mayweather is older than him. The better fighter won that night.
Canelo is most impressive if you look at it on paper. He is a young, strong light middleweight with serious power. But I honestly think that Mayweather is starting to fade, if you look at the fight he looked extremely slow to me for some reason, his hands were slow and you can tell that his footwork has really diminished.
I think that Guerrero was an incredible performance, better than his performance against Cotto or Guerrero. Guerrero is a fast handed southpaw with better movement than Canelo, and he was facing Mayweather who hadnt fought in a year and had done a bit of time in jail. Mayweather dazzled the younger Guerrero with his handspeed (looked incredibly fast, faster than he did when he fought Canelo), avoided his punches with lateral movement and landed that beautiful straight right hand multiple times.

Err, yeah Canelo mate, no question. Of those 3 fights you mentioned Canelo was the only one that even some hardcore boxing fans genuinely thought was gonna stop the Money train.
Cotto is the better win I think Canelo will get beat by any of the best guys at 154 and his stock will drop soon enough.

When he dares to not wait to see a weakness before crawling out of the rocks and just fight against someone with a style that could beat his snake's fist style. Maybe the cat's claw style of Pacquiao or an eagle's claw style.
Ali had the balls to fight Ken Norton, Frazier, Foreman and even his own style - Holmes, a mirror match. Floyd Bedwetter just sits around scoping out a opponents with certain weakness' or a style that he can take advantage of.
cotto is his most impressive win...he got hit good many times however he was able to manage and beat cotto...canelo, guerrero and ortiz are joke...if you fight floyd without a warrior mentality then your a plain retard...those 3 fought floyd with a boxer mentailty, outboxing him, waiting for a one big shot...But it aint gonna happen because they are not as skillful as floyd...Whereas cotto, fought floyd and has a mentaility to destroy floyd not giving him a boxing lesson...Thats how you beat floyd, that is one good reason why floyd is scared to fight margarito and pacquiao...Cotto lost the fight because he was not as deadly as he was but manage to give floyd a good fight...If you want to give floyd a good fight, you need to throw punches every second of the game...you cannot just stand there and doing nothing...
Canelo was Mayweathers best win, and I have never been high on Canelo.
Guerrero - was never impressed with him Slow, Featherfisted, zero power and no defense, he never stood a chance against Mayweather.
Cotto - was way past his best he who took two major beatings at the hands of Brick fist's and Pacquiao.
Ortiz - Victor Ortiz - A two time quitter with mental issues still Floyd needed two cheap shots to KO him.
Definitely Cotto because he gave em a run for his money. He made em bleed and suffer. Alvarez was not ready yet, and Guerrero is not that good.

Cotto because he had to make adjustments more than once. Cotto was fighting intelligent as well.
