Albarez by KO. It will most likely be because of a counter punch because Alvarez, he can almost everything. He can be a boxer puncher and a chess player. If he walked down Pacquiao, amannu would give him angles but Alavrez would be in the fight because his power shots will be resoundingly stronger than Pacquiao's own. It would be close fight which Pacquiao wins. If Alvarez counter punches, he will catch Pacquiao for sure. Pacquaio is no pure boxer. He is a sporadic buzzsaw that throw puches and punches but misses a lot and leaves himself wide open too. Alvarez would knock him out with a big body shot or a straight to the chin.
Canelo Alvarez is much bigger than Manny Pacquiao ,if you compare the Mayweather/Canelo fight ,Mayweather defeated Canelo with effective jabs and movement.
In order for Manny Pacquiao to do his most effective work ,he has to be on the inside ,a place Mayweather never had to go fighting Alvarez ,therefore it will be a whole different fight stratgey wise than the Mayweather fight.

The reason why Saul Alveraz lost to Floyd mayweather jr. is because. Floyd mayweather is a defensive minded fighter that relies on his counter punching ability inorder to frustrate his opponents. While Manny Pacquiao is a boxer puncher that fairs better against a brawler or an inside fighter. Because he needs a fighter to stand infront of him. To make look good. But, if you give him angles. You would either beat him or have a greater chance at beating him. Infact, the fighters that gave Pacquiao his most frustrating fights were Juan Marquez and Sugar Shane mosley. That is a very interesting fight. Alvarez couldn't take Mayweather because they were both playing chess and Mayweather is a better chess player. Pacquiao sticks to checkers.
Still, Pacquiao is extremely fast and much more aggressive than Mayweather. Alvarez is a decent counter puncher, he is patient, and throws a good body shot. If Mayweather's defense wasn't so good he would have been knocked out. There were many times Mayweather avoided body shots that would have landed on anyone else. Pacquiao is also frustrated easily.
It would be a great fight in my opinion.
