Disagree. Nacho Ive always liked, but he is hardly a great trainer. I mean he let one of his own fighters drink his own pi$$.
Nacho is a bit salty on Floyd, and to be fair there arent many that arent (DLH never picks Floyd to win anything, nor does Bernard, Hatton, Winky...the only person who seems comfortable calling Floyd a great is Andre Ward).
Hopefully Canelo will learn alot from this fight. But his O will go.
Disagree. I think the only chance Alvarez has is to land a good punch on Mayweather's chin. He can't out box Floyd.
He can throw combinations all he wants but they have to land. other wise he is doing no damage and punching himself out when his stamina is already poor. Floyd won't get tired so that is advantageous to Floyd.
Now is the best time for both of them though because if he were to wait to beat Floyd, he would get no credit for beating an old Mayweather. Not that he is in his prime now but still. he is only getting older. For Floyd it is also the right move because of that same reason. The older he gets the worse his chances are.
Disagree. Canelo will have his time after Floyd retires, but he should not be considered a favorite or even a 50/50 despite his size and power advantage. Those two attributes are only good for not getting too hurt and for landing against opponents who stand in front of you. Floyd will not knock Canelo out and he will not trade shots with him. He will out box Canelo like he did Guerrero. Canelo has a chance because of his power and slightly underrated speed, but Mayweather is a defensive master who doesn't care how he wins. Canelo has a puncher's chance, but not a boxer's chance.
I highly disagree.
It's a great fight for sure. But what has Canelo EVER done to be considered an opponent who has a 50% chance of beating Floyd? Cotto wasn't even in that type of talk, and he's a HOF fighter that is also bigger than Floyd.
Canelo is bigger, younger, and hits harder than Floyd. So was Ortiz, so was Cotto. It never works out for them.
Floyd is a -250 favorite right now in most places, and I think that's even too close of a line.
I'm a Floyd fan though, so I'm bias. No matter, I think he definitely schools Canelo and don't see how any performance of Alvarez' constitutes him being even close to having a 50/50 chance.
Disagree, I think that Canelo's best chance is his size advantage and power but other than that Floyd is just to crafty for Alvarez and won't be lured into a slug fest.
It will be interesting to see how the master teaches the student a thing or two about size and speed. Floyd wins this by UD or knock out. Canelo will have to remember to keep his technic together if not he will get knocked out.
nacho is far out... canelo's only advantage against floyd is his size... but then again, it now suspect due to the catchweight...
remember roach suddenly made a statement how guerrero might upset floyd when nobody's betting on guerrero????
now it's nacho's turn
Agree or disagree?
