Ruslan Povodnikov fights @140 ,Keith Thurman has been @147 and also has a fight @154 ,so Thurman is naturally bigger and much faster than Provodikiv and would out maneuver him the while fight.
The Provodikov we saw against Bradley was a motivated Provodnikov because it was an opportunity of a lifetime for him and were unlikely to see that Provodnikov again until he fights either Floyd Mayweather ,Manny Pacquiao or Adrien Broner on the big stage.

Keith thurman is not proven against the best in his divison. He will need to have an impressive win over Jesus soto karass to prove to the fans how good he actually is. I'm not referencing that Soto-Karass is an elite fighter but it will show us his full potential as a prospect.
Ruslan Provodnikov proved himself against quality opposition but Keith thurman is still unproven. This Saturday will showcase Keith thurman heart and will as a fighter.
Let us first see how Thurman fares against Jesus Soto Karass this weekend. Thurman has thus far beaten two former world titleholders Jan Zaveck (UD) and Carlos Quintana (TKO) who retired shortly afterwards. If Keith wins convincingly over Karass especially via his customary short route, I think he has a shot at beating the tough but limited Provodnikov, too. Provo is a ponderous puncher but he does not have the chilling one-punch KO power of the Thurmanator. Provo looked good against Bradley and even great against Mike Alvarado but those two are more of boxers-punchers who lacked solid punching power, not a KO specialist as Keith who has kayoed 19 of his 21 opponents thus far.
Keith Thurman is young, has power good footwork good punch output, counters pretty well, has a good chin (took hard shots from diego chavez) yea he would beat prodvodnikov.
Thurman is a front runner he has not been in there with a real killer. Provodnkov would walk him down and bludgeon him to death. Easy win for Provodnkov I thought you heard something that I had not.
