Boxing: Is Wilder destroying opponents too quickly?

Is he not allowing himself a chance to learn?...and get rounds?

Yes, but then you don't get paid overtime in this business so the quicker the better. Problem is, no one that's anything close to being a legitimate contender for the world title will want to fight him because they want to keep their progress going in the right direction.

Ahem, F..F..Fury!

Saying that would suggest he should back off and coast which I think is a horrible idea. It's really a better-sweet type of ordeal. On one hand you have fans complaining that he's not facing anybody but if he were to coast and let guys who are obviously sub par survive a few rounds people would complain and say he's going rounds with bums.

The biggest problem in the Heavyweight division is the fact that there aren't any midd-level fighters. No guys like Zab Judah, Marcos Madiana, or Kendall Holt...fringe contenders. WIth the Heavyweights it's either your elite or a bum...no in between.

The sad part about that whole problem is that you never see guys thoroughly tested before they take on the likes of Klitschko. We never find out a guy can't beat Klitshcko until it's five rounds in and Klitschko is beating him half to death.

I think the only thing you can do with a kid like Wilder is keep him active, the Mike Tyson method. Keep him in the ring, keep him fighting, and keep him in shape. That's the only way to really develop a Heavyweight this day and age because you don't have the luxury of facing a battle tested fringe contender.

Letting guys survive longer than they should is a recipe for disaster; someone could hit him with a big shot and change their fate, fans might get bored...I mean that's why a lot of people stopped watching Kltischko.

Not at all. Tyson is a good example. People would watch his fights just to see him pulverize his opponants. The quicker the better. I hope he goes 20 more fights with quick KO's.

Chicago Bulls had it right.

Sean G I am surprised that you would ask this question. No his doing what he is training to do knock guys out. You never let anyone stick around longer than they have to never. Bomb Squad!!!!!!!!! lol

hes got good shoulders from where he gets good power yet his boxing skills are not all that.....im sure he ll run into problems before settling.
