tough fight....
are you talking 90s Foreman? i think 90s Foreman would be a step too slow for a prime Riddick. although it would be interesting to see how Bowe, who has been floored by Evander and Andrew Golota could take a flush shot on the chin from George Foreman
i still think Riddick would be a bit too much for 90s Foreman, who made a career off fighting slow, limited white guys like Gerry Cooney in his comeback, and smaller heavyweights like Michael Moorer and Evander Holyfield.
in that fight, i pick Bowe by a late round TKO, or UD
Now.....if you are talking 70s Foreman vs 90s Bowe, i give Foreman a very solid chance of beating Bowe. the two are similar in size, i would give Foreman a solid edge in power, although i give Bowe an advantage in speed and defense.
if this fight came down to boxing, i would give the advantage to Bowe, but both Riddick and 70s George had a tendancy to get drawn into wild street fights. i would say Riddick is equally gritty to Foreman in his ability to prevail in a street fight, but the X factor in such a fight would be Foreman's power. if Holyfield could stun and floor Riddick in a street fight, i think George could put him to sleep
70s Foreman vs Riddick, i pick Foreman by late round TKO
No. Styles make fights, you know. I mean, Foreman knocked out both Frazier (twice) and Norton, but Ali, who knocked George out, had difficult time with both Frazier and Norton. So you need to analyze fighters according to their styles and not the results of their previous fights with common opponents. IMO, Big George would knock Big Daddy out. The older and bigger Foreman obviously lost considerable speed and quickness, but he more than made up for it with smarts and good defense, and of course, that brutal knockout power, which is the last to go, as they say, in a fighter. Old George picked his punches to conserve his energy, jabbed more and had this crab-like stance that was hard to penetrate, especially with his huge forearms. I think the fight with Bowe would go like the Moorer fight. Bowe would score early and lead in all scorecards until the 10th or 11th where he'd get hit by a typical George right hand for a sensational KO win.
comparing common opponents is not always a good indicator of how two fighters will work out when they face each other. I think George would win the fight with Bowe.
confusing problem lookup in google or bing it may help
Foreman lost to Holyfield then Holy got beaten by Bowe twice. Does that mean Bowe beats Foreman easily?
