I'm just repeating what others have already said, but I will put mine in order. Just my personal opinion. Don't hate me.

1- Pep

2- Saddler

3- Sanchez

4- Arguello

5- Pedroza

Looks like Pacquiao didn't fight featherweight but a couple of fights. If he would have hung around and defended it, he would be on the list.

Between 1950 and 2013

I would have to say Salvador Sanchez,WBC Featherweight Champion from Feb 2, 1980-July,23,1982, 9 successful title defenses, including an 8th round stoppage of previously undefeated WBC Super Bantamweight Champion Wilfredo Bazooka Gomez, , on Aug 21,1981. He won the title with a TKO 13 over defending champion, Danny Little Red Lopez, and defended his title against Lopez in June 1980, with a TKO 14. Sanchez knocked out Roberto Castanon, TKO8 He easily outpointed Ruben Castillo, Pat Cowdell Patrick Ford, Juan La Porte, and knocked out undefeated Azumah Nelson, TKO 15, in July 1982. There was talk about matching him up with then WBC Light weight Champion Alexis Arguello, however Sanchez was tragically killed in an auto accident, on July 23,1982, in Mexico. Salvador was a tall, boxer, puncher with good movement and an iron chin. He threw precise combinations and had a stiff left jab. He was 23 years old when he passed away.

Thumbs up to Stick and Move, I would have to say Saddler or Sanchez are near the top of my list. I was never a big fan of Willie Pep but you can't argue with his resume. I would add Eder Jofre, Wilfredo Gomez, Rubin Olivares, Alexis Arguello and Azuma Nelson to the list as well, each was great in their own right.

If I had to pick the best of all time at featherweight, I would have to name Henry Armstrong.

Sandy Saddler and Wilfredo Gomez. Pep could not beat Sandy (except once) but was the most stylish. Olivares was a great fighter, too. And the Professor, Azumah.

(In no order):

Willie Pep

Sandy Saddler

Alexis Arguello

Salvador Sanchez

I gotta say that Pep or Saddler are definitely the best, at least IMO.
