Best boxing style for a tall fighter?

It explains styles here http://scotboxer.webs.com/boxingstylesst...

Err.... Outside fighting, the obvious answer.

You can't just say I'm tall, how should I fight because everyone will say outside fighter. For some to actually gauge what style you should have they would have to see you box.

But yeah, outside fighting is what tall fighters use to keep away from smaller fighters so they can get their shots off while the opponent is too far away to hit them.

You gave your height but you did not give us an idea of your weight. 6'1" is tall for the middleweights and below but that's about average for fighters above 160 lbs. Your wing span is also not impressive at only about 66" which is average for fighters fighting at welterweight below. To give you an idea, Brandon Rios is only 5-8 but has a wingspan of 68 inches or almost as wide as he is tall.

If you are fighting at welterweight and below, you are indeed tall but your reach is just average or even below average. Given that hypothesis, I think the best style for you would be similar to that of the late Diego Chico Corrales who was tall for a lightweight but whose short arm was a liability, forcing him to fight smaller than his size, and essentially as a puncher than a boxer/counter puncher.

Peek a Boo

keep your range

I am not training to become a boxer, I'm hitting a heavy bag for conditioning, and to maybe have the edge over an opponent that doesn't know how to properly punch, or that has a terrible form/stance If I did get myself into a brawl.

I am 6'1, with an arm length of about 33 Inches give or take.

Ive boxed before with alot of friends, and my style of fighting Is overwhelmingly aggressive. I don't leave the opponent any chance to catch a breathe, I charge In jabbing and crossing the entire time, pure offense.

So I was wondering which fighting stance would best suit my style of fighting. If there is a name for this style please tell me so I can look up videos of it, Id like to get the general feel of It and better improve It with training.

Thanks
