1. Although Wladimir Klitschko has the reach advantage and a slight height advantage, Muhammad Ali had some underrated power and brawling skills. That being said, he will be more aggressive, and W. Klitschko never had the greatest chin. Klitschko was knocked out by fighters with less power than Ali.
Ali KO in 10.
2. Ali would be extra aggressive here too, but Vitali had a great chin. Still, Ali would flurry all night and win a unanimous decision.
Ali UD12.
Ali comes out to meet Klitschko and Klitschko starts to retreat
if he goes back further ..............he'll end up in a ringside seat
Ali swings with a left and swings with a right
look at Muhammad as he carries the fight
klitschko keeps backing but there's not enough room
its a matter of time before Ali lowers the boom
now Ali swings with a right, what beautiful swing
and the punch knocks the Wlad clear out of the ring . klitschko still rising.
the ref wears a frown
he can't start counting till Wladimir comes down
Now klitschko disappears form view, the crowd is getting frantic
But our radar stations pick up, he's over the Atlantic
who would have thought when they came to the fight
that they'd wittiness the launch...of a human satellite
yes, the crowd did not dream, when they came to their seat
they would see a man get beat so easily beat.....
This question shouldn't be asked or we'd be insulting His Greatness. Common man, whether it's 18-year old Clay or 22-year old Clay that beat Liston or 25-year old Ali that beat Cleveland Williams or the 32-year old Ali that knocked Foreman out or the 36-year old Ali that won the heavyweight title a third time, Wlad wouldn't stand a chance. The pre-exile Clay/Ali was too fast and too quick, he wouldn't touch him while the post-exile Ali, though a step or two slower, was bigger, stronger, smarter and had unmatched physical and mental toughness, not to mention fighting heart.
Don't you realize that in the sport of boxing, there is Ali and there is the rest of them. I mean, Ali has no peer there at the top. Wladimir is nowhere near Ali's level. Get real, man.
the klitschkos are to big for ali he was never a heavey puncher . Young ali was only 176 pounds .and old 200 pound ali was fat and a bit plodding
the brothers are the best of this time but the problem is when there is a question who is the best they make them fight each other or loose there belts how come this has not come up I know there brothers but in world of boxing it does not matter forman had his belt taken because he would not fight someone so whats up with that in the 70s these brothers would be rank low
Boxing fans,
Suspend reality for a moment to assume the following in order:
A) 18 year old Cassius Clay just defeated Russia's Egor Mekhontsev for the Gold Medal Bout at the 2012 London Games! Afterwards Clay's trainer announces he is going professional in 2013.
B) The Klitschko Brothers immediately both vow revenge for their defeated Russian comrade once Clay turns pro!
C) At the Closing Ceremony, Clay is seen with several artists from Nelly, to Jay Z amongst them, while the media thinks he is too young and too brash to take on the experienced Klitschko brothers!
Press pulls a direct quote from Clay in response to The Challenge:
"Klitschko? Sounds like something I saw on the buffet table at the Olympic Village.", "Fish or something!"
