The interesting thing about this match is that Jones' prime wasn't at 160. Jones was at his absolute best at 168. If they fought at 160, and Jones made any calculate error, Hagler would nail and finish him.

The problem for Hagler is that Jones is notoriously cautious. He doesn't have Ray Leonard's foot work but he leaves Ray in the dust in terms of hand speed. Also, he does have enough foot work to keep Marvin guessing.

With all his power, it's not likely that Jones would ever seriously hurt Marvin. However, he's freakishly fast and speed has never been one of Marvin's strengths. In fact, it's been his Achilles heel.

Roy jones jr. would toy with the brawler in haggler, terrible stylistic match up for haggler.
