Yes, Ward is have Irish-American on his father's side, but does that make him a product of Ireland? You have Jack Dempsey, Barry McGuigan, Mike Macullough, and Steve Collins to name a few. All of the aforementioned fighters were actually Irish natives.

Andre Ward is an American?? Just because he has an Irish great-great whatever doesn't mean he's Irish, and he's certainly not "Irish produced".
