Ali vs tyson who would win?

Both in their prime. I think ali would win.

As mentioned on a previous question, Muhammad Ali of 1966, would defeat Iron Mike Tyson of 1988 by a late round stoppage, 10th or 12th. The reason I say this again, is because the prime Ali was extremely fast and could glide all over the ring non stop for 15 rounds if he had to. He could move his head at the precise time he saw a punch coming. He would flick out his left jab and fire a blistering amount of combinations. He also could get into a fighters head, with a man of Tyson's temperament, this could make Tyson lose control of his concentration. Remember Iron Mike had to take prescribed meds to control his behavior, he had mental issues. .Iron Mike had only one gear, forward and bob and weave. Take a look at You Tube and watch Ali destroy Cleveland Williams in 3 rounds on Nov 14,1966. Tyson is no Frazier, Joe could box, you cannot win a fight on power alone. Tyson has trouble with boxers, James Quick Tillis, Tony Tucker, and for 3 rounds against old Larry Holmes. Again 2 years later Buster Douglas would expose Tyson's flaws. This is the Ali before his enforced idleness, 3 yrs for not going to Vietnam. This Ali destroyed Sonny Liston, twice, Floyd Patterson, George Chuvalo, Henry Cooper, Brian London, Karl Mildenberger,, Williams, Ernie Terrell, and Zora Folley. This Ali might have retired as World Champion if it had not been for the war in Vietnam. QuickTillis is no Ali, either is Tucker, or Douglas and Bonecrusher. This Ali did not rope a dope and had not fought Frazier or Foreman. The Ali who was out of shape and returned from the layoff might have lost to Tyson, or had a tough fight, because he lost to Frazier and Norton.

Ali by unanimous decision.

Ali had a longer reach, faster hands, better footwork, a higher work rate, superior stamina, and was much better defensively. Ali's chin and powers of recovery would negate Tyson's power. Tyson was never in Ali's league as a fighter. Even people who worked with Tyson don't believe he would beat a prime Ali.

ALI would be too fleet of foot and his fast hand combo's would definitely frustrate Tyson. I remember James "Quick" Tillis frustrating Tyson and he went wild trying to end this bout. If Tillis can go 10,Ali can certainly shuffle, and hit Tyson with a mutitude of flurries. I see Ali scoring a UD and Tyson so raddled that he can't talk he's so upset.

Probably ALI, but Tyson does have a massive right hand, so if he landed a couple ali would probably be knocked out.

Both in their prime. I think ali would win.
