While ALI is the naturally bigger man, he is essentially a genuine nice guy. Great as he is in the ring, he's certainly no street fighter. He's a kind soul. He grew up that way and never had mean thoughts until he was on his way to becoming a world figure and saw the ugly reality of life outside his surroundings.

Mayweather, on the other hand, grew up mean and had to learn how to be nice. He was a bit more protected than the typical angry, thuggish young black man in the city. However, he has been exposed to enough violence and bitterness to have it become a part of him.

ALI would feed you after you stole from him. Mayweather would beat the daylights out of you if he thought you were stealing from him.

Forget all the hogwash you hear about him fearing a Pacquiao fight. Floyd has his share of issues but cowardice isn't one of them. He's a control freak and can't get his way with the negotiations for such a fight. His remedy is to keep Pacquiao waiting because that's the only way he can maintain control. It has nothing to do with fear and he wouldn't back down from ALI either.

Now there are some examples where size would be even less of an issue. Imagine the same scenario. Now remove Floyd and enter Roberto Duran. Somewhere in his mind, Mayweather would beat you or realize he's out-manned. Duran would kill you or die trying. I don't see ALI, or most heavyweights beating him in a street fight.

I think the Heavyweight will beat the smaller Welterweight. He will have 80 pounds and 7 inches of reach on his side.
Ali was at his prime 215 lbs and 6ft 3 inches. Mayweather is fast but remember Ali was known for his tremendous speed as well. Different weight class but similar speed. Ali wins.
So this is the situation Ali and mayweather are both in their prime, mayweather pisses off Ali whilst they meet in a public area. So they now have a street fight. I do not care if the fight is not fair but what would be the outcome of this fight.
