Broner who I really don't care for as a fighter because he is a "Champion" and is suppose to conduct himself as one both inside and outside of the Ring, but he has decided to take a different outlook on things and act like another "Champion" Mayweather. He knows that acting like a fool both inside and outside of the Ring puts a certain type of fan in the seats. Next thing you'll most likely read or hear about is that like Floyd, he beats women and will be convicted of beating defenseless women just like Floyd something Floyd has been convicted of several times. Broner who has decent skills who has emulating Floyd down pretty good with the tuck and roll style and using his left elbow as a weapon.
We as true fight fans should demand more of our "Champions" imagine if you will the great Sugar Ray Robinson acting like a fool in the ring belittling his opponent that he was clearly outclassing. Imagine if you will Sugar Ray Robinson chewing gum like a cow during a interview. Imagine if you will Sugar Ray Robinson acting like a sideshow circus act. It would NEVER happen. Champions are suppose to conduct themselves in a better manner, we the public, fans should demand more. Something changed with fans around the early 70's, when mocking ones opponent and circus like entrances became acceptable, now it's the "Norm" for a particular type of fight fan. Example. Broners last fight in Atlantic City, they had a hard time selling the fight and gave away a record amount of tickets to people who normally wouldn't attend a fight card like that. What you get? A bunch a people laughing and egging Broner on when he was acting like a fool. I understand that boxing is a business and the purpose is to make money, but what happened to conducting yourself as a Champion?
Expect more about reading about Broner being arrested in the future. History, especially Boxing has a way of repeating itself, and the fighters that I mentioned will be broke and in trouble with the IRS. The fans will be gone. Jail will most likely follow. Floyd with all the money he has already made was in big trouble with the IRS as I'm sure Broner will some day be.

I remember sitting in his hospital room with my laptop reading your questions and answers and him telling me "How sharp you are." We are brothers. "Santana" always wanted to run into you at one of the local gyms or one of the local fight cards once he found out you too were from Chicago. As he talked, I typed and I feel as if I know you. Yes, Adrien Broner was arrested and charged with battery. I agree when you are a Professional and in the public eye you have an obligation to conduct yourself as an adult. You should also be your own person, not a cheap generic replica of somebody else. That is something that a elementary school kid does after watching a movie starring his favorite actor playing a cool character. He walks out of the theatre feeling like the character he watched on the big screen a few moments before. I think that Floyd Mayweather is a horrible example to our youth and other young fighters. As a father, you teach your sons to always conduct themselves as gentleman, and to respect women Floyd Mayweather has chosen the path to assault women and children. I know to the very few readers who say bad words because they are too ignorant to say anything intelligent, they are impressed by Floyd. They look at Broner's arrest as Macho, but it takes a real man to teach his kids the right way, educate them and support them as well as taking care of his spouse. The reason low life's that use profanity like jail, it is because it reminds them of the garbage they are used to being around and they fantasize about the things done to them while they were incarcerated. Broner has a lot of growing up to do, as does Floyd. It is more important to be an individual that has class, than a profanity using moron.
