I cant predict weather a fighter will stay undefeated throughout his career, I cant tell u this, Kovalev has his fundementals intact which is something Donaire never had. Kovalev doesnt rely on his opponents to give him openings and hes a volume puncher who sets up his offense pretty well.
Understand that Donaire only looked good against flat footed come forward fighters with no defense and couldnt adjust much to other styles. Kovalev looked good against diffrent styles, he fought boxers like Cornelius White and Campillo who have styles that trouble Donaire
Really, you want to compare the power of a 125 pounder to a 180 pound monster. Kovalev is a monster and probably one of the hardest punchers on planet earth. If you don't know, one decent upcoming fighter died after the match with Kovalev. No one is going to take his punch right now, he is loose, he is a monster, stevenson knows it and he is running.
What are they fighting?
Lets not forget that Ward can be knocked down. Kovalev has alot of power to giveth. But it think Ward might be able to win by split decision.

maybe if heredia is also inside ward camp.... hel b more spectacular than rigon
I don't see that happening soon. HE seems to be the real thing and will give any opponent/champ a tough night.
Will Andre Ward do to Kovalev what Rigondauex did Nonito Donaire. I like Kovalez, he iseems to be more consistent than donaire, but his key strength is his power....idl seems kind of a bad analogy, because I could also make the same case with stevenson.
