but its a bit odd how he has never had a fight outside of USA...
I thought it would be good to fight Amir Khan in the UK, with Amir's fan base there. Then I read about Phil Mickelson's earnings for winning the Scottish and British Open golf tournaments there. He earn a little over $2.1M, but because of taxes, he ended up with only about $850,000. A person nicknamed "Money" would never take that kind of deal.
Is there a compelling reason for him to do so? Can you name a country outside of the USA where he can earn as much or more than he is earning fighting at home? Outside of Pacquiao, can you name a top rated, popular, bankable fighter in the 140-154 lbs.outside of the Western hemisphere that would be worth the while of Golden Boy and Floyd of travelling outside the USA and staging a fight there? Speaking of a potential Pacman-Floyd fight, I don't even think the Philippines or China have the capability to stage a real big time boxing event on their own
No big money fights are in Vegas. Pac is only fighting in China cause of the foreign tax he has to pay which is around 40 percent
It would be a little odd if he wasn't an American, but when you look at the most popular American fighters over the last Twenty Years with Mike Tyson, Oscar Dela Hoya, Roy Jones (in his prime) If I'm not mistaken none of those guys I named fought outside the United States either.
These idiots is saying that xyloclaine is peds sound ridiculous. I don't think he is going to fight outside of Las vegas because he will not generate enough of money.
no,all the big money fights are in Las Vegas,so don't expect him to fight anywhere else
as long as they allows xylo peds.... yea, maybe!!!
Im not say hes not credible for his record because of the venue of the fights
but its a bit odd how he has never had a fight outside of USA...
