Why is Mayweather STILL unwilling to fight Pacquiao?

I think Mayweather has other options to close out his remaining two fights contract with CBS/Showtime. That include a possible high profile, potentially high grossing bout versus Amir Khan in a welterweight title defense and an equally lucrative PPV rematch fight versus Miguel Cotto for the latter's WBC and lineal middleweight titles.

I think Floyd is angling for a fight with Cotto first in May which could ruin Oscar de la Hoya's plan of pitting Cotto against his prized ward, Canelo Alvarez on the same date. This I think is the reason Oscar is reportedly joining the effort to put up the Floyd-Pacquiao fight as early as possible in 2015. Oscar believes Floyd could steal Cotto away with better offer which he would be hard pressed to match for a fight with Alvarez.

Whatever the result of the Cotto fight, knowing Floyd does not take two hard fights in a row, I think he will take on Khan next to round out his 2015 and his two fight contract with CBS/Showtime.

I think Floyd is eager to at least match Marciano's 49-0 record before taking on Pacquiao, which could be early 2016.

I think this plan is not lost to CBS/Showtime and the network would surely not risk Floyd to a fight he could lose to Pacquiao early in 2015 which could render the remainder of his contract moot and useless.

The Pacquiao fight could potentially be the biggest in boxing history but with so many parties involved, the fighters, the promoters, the networks, the WBC and WBO and the IRS sharing the pie, will the net income for Floyd and the CBS still be bigger if Floyd and CBS just do other lucrative fights together?

There are too much personal motives, boxing politics and business involved here.

It's not as easy as you think, dude.

Simple as 1 plus 1 equals 2...

Floyd would not put his azz in the danger of getting whupped.

He likes Twitter better because he doesn't lose his 0-loss record and he doesn't get hurt. He is the biggest COWARD of all times.

He's scared to lose the 47-0 right now.

Obviously he thinks he might lose this fight so he will never take it.

that 0 makes him scared the MOST

because he is a coward.

I don't get it. Leave the past things aside and looking at it right now, why is Mayweather still silent about the fight when he posted the Instagram video of Pacquiao knocked out?

If he thinks Pacquiao is easy to knock out, then why not fight him?

What are your takes? Will it finally happen, or what is Mayweather afraid of when he says he is the best in the business but not fighting him?
