I disagree. Boxing may not be squeaky clean by a long shot, but it is definitely not as crooked as it once was in the 40's and 50's when the Mob ruled. In today's world you hear the same about every sport.
Horse Racing, and any sport that puts too much power in to one person's hands always have the chance of greed getting the best of someone. Team sports are not excluded.

Especially in Vegas, although the mob didn't own it like it did a long time ago, it's easy to say boxing has become fixed once again, just check out the results of recent fights, although it's not as bad as it was historically, but still pretty conspicuous. What's gone wrong with the sport these days?
