Why don't boxers hit the temple/eardrum?

Its easier said than done. Mice have an idea that if they tie a bell to the neck of the cat, the'll know when the cat's coming. I agree and defintely agree with what you say buddy.

Why don't boxers hit the temple/eardrum?

- Is the punch easy to land? Trust me bro, they had that in mind. If you havent seen one, the punch that knocked down Morales for the first time courtesy of PAcman was in the temple and boy you are correct, it was a KO point.

You must not be watching enough boxing then.

It happens a lot, people get hurt and knocked out from getting hit in the temple/ear a lot.

Donovan George just got knocked out this past weekend from that type of punch. David Price got knocked out earlier this year from a punch just behind his ear.

They do. I've seen many boxers knocked out from a temple shot. They get hit in the ears also. That's why many boxers have cauliflower ears.

To reach those points you have to open your stance, and expose yourself. I'm sure if they saw the opportunity they would.

Idiot, it's not a stun point. It's a deadly point. Hit there and the person's dead.

In boxing matches, I always see the temple open and the eardrum wide open, yet boxers never try to hit there.

The temple is a KO point and the eardrum is a stun point, if I am correct, so why do they not take the chance to hit there?
