Why does someone punch harder than someone else?

Technique is better than strength. I remember one of my first martial arts classes. I was about 5'8", 165 pounds. I was training with this old guy (he was 65 I think), and I punched the bag, and it was embarrassingly weak. The other guy punched the bag, and he launched it away. Not because of his muscles, or because of how young he was, but because he had proper technique.

He had good technique, and I had the strength, but he did a stronger punch. That proves that technique is superior compared to genetics. However, if both guys are using proper technique, then genetics (like muscle, and height) will become the deciding factor. Now, I use the same technique as the old guy, and combining that with my genetics (I'm currently 69 inches tall, 180 pounds, 72 inch arm span), I send the punching bag back to the factory with 1 punch!

Oh yeah, if you wanna know the type of technique I use to get the maximum power punch, it's like a baseball bat swing.

There's a lot of reasons. Because that person has strong leg muscles, forearms, shoulder muscles, abs, back muscles, etc. Some people are born with strong bones, joint muscles, etc. A lot of times, what made them that way is not just what they were born with but how they've lived.

Because they have more brute strength. For example, Chest muscles, triceps, deltoids. Those upper body strength and yes, they are born like that, some of them.

They are born with it

please i dont wanna hear that crap like punchers are born thats not an answer for exemple if i ask the question why is someone faster than someone else the answer will be because he has more fast twitch muscle fibers
