then when the true test came, he made a lot of excuses... he raised issues such as the OSDT, the fight purse and so many ridiculous demands such as pac must leave arum and sign w/ him, or pac will only get $40M so he can own the rest... he complicated everything, he made the fight impossible to make... he refused his so called "greatness" to be tested, lot's of people wants to see it tested so lots of people got frustrated, lots of people begun to hate his personality as a boxer...

Well, people, a lot of them actually, don't like arrogant, braggart and co-cky fighters. There's no denying that in Floyd, but I think most of it is just for self-promotion, just like what Ali did decades back. Because of all that bragging, people came to watch Ali's fights hoping that he'd get beat and his mouth shut. That's the same thing with Floyd so he's just getting richer every fight.
I don't think people hate him but many dislike him.
Hate is a strong word, the word ''dislike'' better explains peoples feelings towards Floyd.
People dislike Floyd because he's arrogant, materialistic & because there were some guys he should have fought which he did not, like;
-Kostya Tszyu at 140lbs, Tszyu was the king but Floyd instead went after Ghatti who only had a paper championship belt.
-Paul Williams at 147lbs after he kayod quintana in the 1st round & whopped plaster-handed margarito [the same margarito that kayod Cotto]. Floyd retired & left his belt vacant when Williams was his mandatory challenger, yet he fought lack-luster Guerrero because ''he was a mandatory challenger''.
-Pacman
among others.
I think because of the way Mayweather portrays himself as the bad boy of boxing.
That's very true. Mayweather had always been cocky, arrogant, and insulted other boxers. And making controversial comments such as he was the greatest boxer to have ever lived, and proclaiming that he was better than Muhammad Ali and Sugar Ray Robinson.
Not just that, Mayweather robbed boxing Fans of their dream fight, a fight with Manny Pacquiao back in 2009-2011. Mayweather also robbed Oscar De La Hoya of a rematch in 2008, by retiring before the rematch took place. And even worse, Mayweather had made false accussations of Pacquiao using steorids, He was also rude to his wife.
I think those bad boy images made him getting hated by a lot of Boxing Fans. He was the baddest role model in boxing today and one of the baddest along with Sonny Liston and Mike Tyson.
