Who the hell is Floyd Mayweather supposed to fight next?

David is a jackass who hasn't been paying attention. Arum said they'd ditch HBO for once to fight Floyd on showtime (Pacquiao vs Mayweather). He's trying to make the fight, it's just a matter if Floyd wants to or not or if arum screws us over again. But either way it's Khan or Pacquiao.

I just read that the WBC has made Pacquiao the mandatory challenger for Mayweathers 147 belt. So get ready for another round of negotiations. Mayweather will say that he chose Pacquiao and then here comes the negotiations. As said above Top Rank will leave HBO for this one fight to be on Showtime. It's all on Mayweather now, Pacquiao is on the record saying he agrees to blood testing, a 55-45 split, anything. (First take before fourth Marquez fight.) The fight could really happen man, it's up to Floyd 100%.

If they can't make it happen, Mayweather said he's fighting someone solid, and the only other he could fight is Bradley. It would actually be a great fight because of Bradley's speed and will. Bradley could have a real chance because of the way he avoids punches after landing. Judah did this and had great success against Floyd until his will broke and he got frustrated and tired.

He can't fight Khan, that's just a stupid fight. We should know what happens sometime this week.

I think from a business perspective, the fight to make would be vs Khan (which because of Khan's skill, speed and reach will be tougher than most fans expect). Yet, if it's about finding the guy who looks like he can give Floyd the most trouble... Lara just leap frogged everyone this weekend. Floyd will always have options...

I would say Khan is more likely than Lara because he is a bigger draw. He could fight Martinez but it would 154lbs and Martinez is still recovering I think. He also might fight cotto.

Whoever says Pacquiao is clearly not letting the fact that he is with Top Rank and HBO sink in.

Anyone but Pacquiao. Floyd still believes that his health would be in peril if he fought Manny. Sportscasters and boxers alike indicated that Floyd is scared. He can and will probably beat Pacquiao if they get to fight, but, too bad, Floyd is not mentally ready for that encounter. Sorry Floyd fans.. your man is scared, afraid, aghast, frightened, terrified, spooked, and horrified of that possibility. As the saying goes,

NO BALLS, NO GLORY.

theres a chance that the pac/may fight could happen next year... as we hear arums been expressing his eagerness... pac is damaged anyway, cant sell ppv anymore and most probably retiring, why not milk it finally for his long time cashcow..

while floyd, what can he ask for, he got no more big fights left as as what was felt on the guerrero fight ppv sales, big guys above 154 are all drooling to hurt him, pacquiao slow down and probably shot already, pac is also cheaper now after the rios fight, arum willing to go showtime...

if he throws another ridiculous demand again, aw man, will somebody snipe him from a distance for me?

If he wants to prove to everyone, not just his followers, that he's the best, then he's got to get Pacquiao. Win or lose, his legacy will be cemented forever, especially if he does well against Manny.

floyd should begin to do business w/ arum...

no one around him poses any threat, all the big fights are in arums backyard and obviously the fans is gettin impatient

unless he planned all this...and enjoys gettin out of HBO, away from arum...

Pacquio ? Pacquio is probably the next one , if the money is right they'll fight.

Nobody from Top Rank will. Danny Garcia said he won't. Alexander just lost. Khan has had a mediocre performance against Diaz. I mean I could only see Lara fighting him ,or take the easier route and fight Khan. Not really many options.
