You don't want to buy a heavy table if you intend to take it to the park, so I suggest your local DIY store and get a 'pasting table' - these fold in half, are not heavy and are quite cheap too. We have one for our car boot sales. B & Q are quite good. These tables are not solid though, but quite adequate for your purpose I think. Good luck.
