That being said, the best advice is to just ask around - especially among the older brothers and sisters.
Best bet is an older brother's apartment or house. or sometimes there are some "cool parents". Dope smoking can be done in the garage or backyard. and car keys could be collected at the door. maybe even hire someone to taxi people home.
Don't try to get a hotel room.
Hotels are warned to not rent to young people this time of year and they'll just toss you out or call the cops and then keep your money. People who think they've found a way to scam around these restrictions just find themselves in a cop car late at night.
I have a friend who worked a front desk and he'd purposely rent hotel rooms to kids so he could call the cops and then steal their beer and pot, when they were getting stopped by the police.
Try an isolated camp site. What is more get a bunch of camp sites, so you don't have neighbors.
So, my friends and I want to have an after-prom party. Since some of us will be 18, we've thought about renting a place to go after prom.
This is going to be a typical party with alcohol and probably marijuana. We want a place where we can do this and not be caught.
