Whats better boxing or mma?

It really depends on what you like. I've always been more of a boxing fan than an MMA fan and I think that will always be the case. I enjoy both but I haven't been driven away from boxing yet, despite the politics which infests the sport more than ever before.

Both are great. I prefer Boxing without a doubt, but I love MMA and watch almost every card that's on, just like I do with Boxing.

If they had a fight, the boxer would probably lose but boxing is a lot more dangerous and there are less TKO's and when a boxer gets knocked down, they get the chance to get back up and get the **** beaten out of them again. So boxing is more entertaining but MMA is more practical.

Boxing is less brutal, and I think puts pride in defense. MMA is more daredevil, as even the really good fighters can get submitted or knocked out by someone not as good. After that, take your pick.

You are mistaken.

The skill level of each is only applicable to each sport.

In other words, which is better, badminton or tennis?

Two sports, different rules. A tennis player will struggle in a badminton tournament, and vice versa.

If you are talking about which is best in a real fight, both are useless. They are just sport and entertainment.

If either one were any good for a practical situation, then the police would not need to carry bats, mace, tasers, guns, and bring the german shepherd. They could learn kool-fu and subdue anyone (like in the movies).

In reality, military and police train in hand to hand, but avoid it like the plague. It doesn't work....you get hurt. So, you keep your distance and hand on the mace and taser, and get the handcuffs ready,

All MMA sportsmen lose in a boxing match with a pro boxer, and all boxers lose under MMA rules wearing their big gloves in the octagon. The boxer has a better chance in an MMA bout if he is wearing MMA gloves than the MMA fighter has in a boxing match as he can strike better than anyone.

The badminton player needs tennis lessons before playing tennis.

MMA is better in boxing because if floyd mayweather. He's so boring to watch.

Better for what? Boxing is far more likely to result in head trauma/concussion.

At the professional level, both sports have numerous problems which have beset the entire "combat sports" arena forever....

The managers/handlers/promoters end up with the money, the fighters end up with long-term injuries and cognitive impairment.

At the non-professional level, depends what you want. Neither is particularly useful in a self-defense context.

Lol.
