$500? That should be enough to work with.
Try having a party in a large back yard. Use a lot of the money for foods, or little activities.
Just have a big bonfire & I don't know how much to rent a photoboothe in your area, but if you were looking for something to make your party a hit I would do someone like that. (Renting a photoboothe.)
Anything fun is really all that should matter. Maybe a large cake? And if you wouldn't want a photoboothe try a candy bar or something. Not to sound like a wedding, but get some bubble makers! Or get a bunch of bubble packages and have your guest just have fun and blow them around.
Go out eat to nice resturnat
Pizza Party
Birthday Cake
Ice Cream
Snacks
And drinks
or how baout
Finger food
Try and keep it simple. It's so much fun.
Hang out at the mall, go to the movies, walk around town..
You can also come home and then have a bonfire in your back yard! (those are always so much fun! esp when you are all cuddled up in a blanket at night talking about fun st!uff.)
Hope I helped!!!
