but he's not the only one harry simon the former WBO light middle/middle weight champ is still fighting and unbeaten .
Spadafora was a drunk and a coke head who shot his pregnant girlfriend because he though the kid wasn't his, I think he did time for attempted murder, but when he wasn't getting tossed in jail or shot by the cops, he was a pretty good junior welterweight who once won an IBF title. Spadafora has a record a mile long with just about every crime a meatball can commit. If he wasn't such a good boxer he would have been a career criminal.
Spadafora is like an almost semi popular boxer who could have been a lot more popular. Basically he was going to be a familiar name boxing in the early 2000s, but you know troubled things happen and kind of shot his pregnant wife. That's where the respect train for a lot of people leave no matter what he does.
BUT
He is making a comeback with the help of Roy Jones Jr. At first glance it doesn't see like Spadafora could hold his own with the Champs to the untrained eye. And like you said his record isn't SRR. But after learning about him for a while I would love to see a title fight for him. I don't know how or who but something would be cool.
here's a good article about him.
