A fast rock & roll dance theme so there is dancing. If there's enough space & people there. If doing the Halloween costume theme it can be a masquerade theme instead of Halloween if not the right time of year.

I do love an 80's rock or sock hop dance/music theme as you can decorate with old vinyl records, pics of jukeboxes, pink & black, music notes.

Hawaiian for room deco or clothing is okay, but what type of music would be played?

A pop music party too.

I always liked dressing up like Halloween for a party theme. It really beings out the creativity in the guests in my opinion.
