If it's going to be a party with tones of people and a lot of them are idiots or boofheads than there is a chance that some of that stuff might happen, however it is unlikely, I've been to plenty of parties with roughly 12-18 people and its just been chatting and eating and sometime a bonfire or something.
It really all comes down to how much you trust the host and how responsible they are as well as the other guests.
Key things to ask is how many people there will be and especially if there will be parental supervision, if there is not, I'd advise to stay away.

Yes, some do. This doesn't happen when there are parents present, AS THERE SHOULD BE. My second wife had two teens, who were not allowed to go to unchaperoned parties; we also let them have parties at our house, but, we were always there. Kids can make some really bad decisions.
Its basically just getting drunk off your ass and then finding some random person to hookup with .. ahah (reason why I've been to one and only one) not fun or worth it !
