I think it's ridiculous. Here you have a boxer, an actual boxer, who is being punished for being what a boxer should be. All those people hating should just go watch MMA because if you call Rigondeaux boring you are no boxing fan. I'm sick and tired of "fans" saying guys like Ward, Rigondeaux, and Mayweather boring when that is what boxing is and if you don't like it then stop watching!

Rigo should bolt the Top Rank and join Golden Boy Promotions where there are lots of top fighters fighting in and around his weight like Abner Mares. Ponce de Leon, Johnny Gonzales, Chris John, Leo Santa Cruz, Victor Terrazas and whose bosses don't dismiss him as boring.

For real boxing fans, like myself that understand the subtle things Rigondeaux does like feints and laying traps for his opponent, things that the untrained eye just won't see but people like myself that have dedicated their life to boxing since I was less than 80 pounds back when Mike Tyson was still undefeated. Some people like myself just enjoy watching talented and savvy boxers display their boxing genius.

I am sure there are other fans that just know he is great, maybe even fair weather fans but any one can clearly tell Rigondeaux is just on another level than most boxers out there

Rigo is one of my favorites for sure....great brain, great puncher and has great heart.... If you call him boring, then sorry dun but boxing isn't for you.... Andre Ward made a good point a few weeks ago about Rigo and that dunny knows what's up.... Rigo won't be beat for a long @ss time

He is not boring, but no one wants to fight him.

This is not unusual for ranked fighters in that people ranked above do not want to risk losing to him, and ruin their rankings.

Unless he can get a mandatory fight he is going to have a hard time getting a fight.

Excellent fighter but because he is "boring"(to fans who just wanna see brawls), he definitely won't get any recognition, headline cards, or even appear in PPV undercards(I'd love for Rigo to fight in the Bradley-Marquez card)
