I do not think of it as odd at all. When you are a cheerleader, you and your team are a family. And you accept everyone because that's how close the sport can bring you to everyone on your team, no matter who they are, a boy or a girl. Theres no judgement on them, because every cheerleader who knows something about cheer, knows that you learn to accept everyone. If you don't, or you have something against a guy being a cheerleader or whoever else, then you don't know that we dont judge other cheerleaders and you dont know what it is like to be so close to cheerleading.
I think they are brave because there is a lot of hater out there. I think they are one of the main part of the team cause of their voice and strength!! if you thinking about or you are doing it good for you and keep living a dream
