The best thing you can do is get a backhandspring because that can lead you into much higher skills necessary to be on a high level team. I am on a level four team after just quitting gymnastics with not much flexibility but a roundoff back handspring layout working on a full. They might put you on a level 2 or three team primarily because of your flying abilities. Flexible girls who are able to pull a heel stretch, bow and arrow, or scorpion will probably be put on higher teams just because of their flying ability. Good luck. (:
Level 1. You need a back handspring for level 2.
you'll be on level one. its good that you're flexible but being able to pull body positions isn't that important unless you're going to be a flyer. you should start taking tumbling classes offered by your cheer gym. :)
I'm 14 and am thinking about joining a competition squad. I am a dancer so I can do a: scorpion, heel stretch/leg grab, bow and arrow, right split, and left split. My jumps are ok. I cant do much tumbling, I can do a: cartwheel, round off, and front walkover. What level would I be on?
