I was a boxer but due to injury I had to stop. Weight are good if your over the age of 16 due to the fact your muscles are still growing. The fact is you don't need muscle to punch hard. It all come from the waist when you pivet
You should lift because it helps you gain power for your punches. But don't lift to much because if you get too big you will slow down
