Not nown as a technical fighter yet still talented. Obviously, he fought the best. But he was not a puncher actually, had decent skills, and was very hard to beat.
Yes he was very good. If he had fought in a different era and against Robinson he would be more famous than he is.
yer damn right he was. he was one of the ATG's and had the best chin of all time too. he beat that boy ray robinson good and proper and he woulda done it every time if he trained properly and didn't get distracted.
