Holyfield was a pretty hard puncher, despite what you might think. Tyson hit him with some good shots, but unlike a lot of his previous opponents was not scared and took the punches well. Holyfield's strong bodyshot that caused the first knockdown said a lot. Holyfield then rocked Tyson with his flurry (I think in the 10th round) when the referee stopped it.
Holyfield could fight Tyson 50 times, and he'd win 50 times. Holyfield always had a granite chin, good power, and wasn't afraid of anyone. Some fighters just cannot beat other fighters.
I would love to see Tyson fight Don King, who should be in prison(where he was before he became a "promoter"),for ripping off Ali.
complicated issue query onto a search engine that may help
Don King had his hands on it becuase looking at the fight it looked staged tyson hit holy with some geat shots and combos and holyfield trew flurries of punches but looking at the tape it didnt look like it hurt tyson. if tyson won the money cow for don king is done theirs no legidmate fighter around that time of 96 to challenge tyson for the title and make money for don king at the same time. in 1996 the lewis vs tyson fight would not make money becuase lewis was not that big yet. i have a feeling thats why in 1997 tyson went crazy becuase he wanted to get away from don king forever.
don king plan was
tyson vs holy1 - holy wins rematch big numbers tyson vs holy 2 before the bite tyson was begining to rattle holyfield if tyson didnt go crazy he wins , tyson vs holyfield 3- ends in a draw - more money for everyone. holyfield vs lewis 1- winner faces tyson and so fourth
i honestly think this is what don king had planned
